Tate Kobang comes through with thirteen tracks of heat.

A few years back, it was announced that Tate was joining forces with Ruff Ryders legend Swizz Beatz, who would be handling production duties on a then-untitled project. Now, Tate Kobang is back, and this morning the Baltimore rapper has dropped off a brand new thirteen track mixtape called Tate Ko, featuring appearances from Swizz Beatz, Young Money Yawn, and Chaz French. And while the initial reports might have indicated a heavier involvement from Swizzy, the recent Harvard Grad handles production on a single track - the bulk of the beatmaking is provided by YG! Beats, Millz Douglas, and Tate Kobang himself.

The project features a wide array of different soundscapes, from the haunting ambiance of "Nineteen," to the up-tempo break-beat vibes of "Ello?" Still, Kobang keeps things grounded with a solid performance across the boards, and tracks like "Don't Matter" prove he's not afraid to tackle some strange and memorable instrumentals.
