Busta Rhymes hit up BET's 106 & Park yesterday evening, and brought with him Reek Da Villian and J Doe, who are his Conglomerate artists. It was his first interview since he inked a deal with Cash Money.
While on the show, Bussa Bus revealed that what we formerly thought would be an album, Year of the Dragon, will actually be a free release.
"Year of the Dragon album, just so everybody know, is not my Cash Money debut, this is my Google album, and this album is gunna be given to everybody for free," he revealed. Busta says we'll be getting a release date in the next couple of days, and it'll be dropping on Google Play.
When asked about collaborations on Year of the Dragon, Busta said, "I mean, I'm just collaborating with people that I honestly have an appreciation for as a person first. I'm just fortunate enough to be in a place where I ain't gotta rhyme with you on a record because you might be the cool dude to be on a record with at the time."
Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Trey Songz, Robin Thicke, Maino, Anthony Hamilton, and Gucci Mane are some of the features you'll be getting on the freelease.
He also listed who inspires him now, giving credit to 2 Chainz, Meek Mill & Kendrick Lamar.
