Its safe to say rising producer Teddy Walton is having himself a breakout year in 2017. From stringing together two platinum singles with Kendrick Lamar's "LOVE" and GoldLink's “Crew" to contributing to Freddie Gibbs’ “Crushed Glass” and Young Dolph’s “Pacific Ocean” records, the 25-year old Memphis producer is quickly solidifying his mark in the hip-hop industry. Looking to capitalize off his growing momentum & buzz, Teddy is getting ready to release new project of his own called Mental Health, which will reportedly feature guest appearances from Lil Yachty, Nipsey Hussle, Juicy J, Lil B, Goldlink, & more. But before it arrives, Teddy decides to come through today and share the project’s title track with Dom Kennedy ahead of time called “Mental Health.”
Going in over a sample from Tame Impala’s 2015 hit "New Person, Same Old Mistakes” Teddy delivers a smooth, laid back record that finds Dom effortlessly rapping about his West Coast lifestyle. “L.A. not for sale, letting off shells/ spit it a capell, Supreme Vans in the mail," Dom spits before the beat switches up at the end.
Highlighted by its slow churning production & Dom’s laid back delivery, “Mental Health” is a strong introduction into Teddy’s upcoming project, and another addition to Dom’s growing catalogue of hits. It follows up Dom’s latest Half A Mil 3 project with Hit-Boy, which dropped back in August & featured guest appearances from ATL artists 24hrs & Quentin Miller.
Suggest you roll up and enjoy the laid back vibes from Teddy and Dom now. Let us know what you think in the comments (below).

The Portuguese dunks them shits was hot
Damn CG used to hold me down the lot
Fuck a role model
The White House full of criminals
So I tell ‘em make sure you get the genitals
Gave you lil niggas plenty styles
