Verse Simmonds recruits Kid Ink for his latest banger.

Verse Simmonds is one of the hottest songwriters right now. He's penned helped produce and write for some of the most revered artists of our time, consistently proving that both his pen and his ear aren't to be messed with. The singer/rapper's been gearing up to drop his forthcoming album and throughout this year, he's made the right moves to make sure the roll out for his second album, Diamonds, is proper. He's lent his talents on some of the biggest albums this year including Chris Brown's and Meek Mill's. Today, he unleashes "Rumpshaker '18" featuring Kid Ink.

Simmonds drops off the upbeat new single, "Rumpshaker '18." It's an upbeat, poppy single that's definitely made for the clubs. The song was produced by KE On The Track who's previously with Future and Big Sean in the past. He provides a bass heavy soundscape that's bound to get people out of their seats. The track teeters closer towards an upbeat R&B/pop type single but it does have the flare of hip hop infused all over it. Kid Ink takes on the first verse, coming through with a speedy and frantic flow. His part contrasts from Simmonds who maintains his cool and calm vocals throughout the track. It's a solid effort from both artists. They share great chemistry on wax especially considering they both have similar styles to what they do.

With the release of his upcoming album Diamonds dropping this Friday, Verse is gearing to step into the limelight. He previously linked up with Ty Dolla $ign for their collaboration, "Murder Charge." Now with "Rumpshaker '18" out, he's definitely going to deliver a project filled with catchy tunes to keep you vibing for the coming months.

Quotable Lyrics
Runnin' with some niggas duckin' from the feds
If you fuckin' with me, aimin' for your head
I been killin' these features lately
Now she wanna go half on a baby
