For many, October 31 marks the celebration of Halloween. However, some others get a two-for-one treat, celebrating their birthdays on the special day. A handful of notable names have Halloween birthdays, enjoying a double dose of celebration. Moreover, many celebrities born on October 31 use the opportunity to have Halloween-themed birthdays or release music referencing the holiday. 

Celebrities with Halloween birthdays are spread across a variety of entertainment industries. Musicians like Willow Smith and Vanilla Ice share a birthday alongside actors, including Letitia Wright and Rob Schneider. Sharing a birthday with a famous holiday might prove daunting, but these stars haven’t let it faze them. So, while you wish these seven stars a Happy Halloween, be sure to leave a birthday message for them, too.

Willow Smith

One of the most recognizable faces with a Halloween birthday is Willow Smith. The multi-genre talent was born in 2000, so she’ll be marking her 23rd birthday in 2023. Willow may have risen to prominence due to her famous parents, but she’s long since carved out a formidable career. Her musical versatility has been a notable career highlight, as well as hosting Red Table Talk alongside her mom and grandma. In 2019, Will Smith famously threw her an epic Halloween-themed birthday party. He also documented the entire affair on his YouTube channel.

Letitia Wright

The formidable Black Panther herself, Letitia Wright, is also a Halloween baby. She was born in 1993 and will be kicking off her 30s in 2023. Wright’s acting career kicked off in 2011, and by 2015, she was earning acclaim for her role in Urban Hymn. However, she’s become most famous for her role as Princess Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s uncertain whether she celebrates the spooky season, but Shuri is definitely going to be a source of inspiration for many youngsters this season. 

Ad-Rock

Beastie Boys rapper Ad-Rock also celebrates his birthdays alongside Halloween. He also mentioned his date of birth on the Beastie Boys track “The New Style.” Even though the group is no longer active, Ad-Rock has maintained affiliation with the Beastie Boys through other endeavors. More recently, he appeared as himself in the documentary Beastie Boys Story in 2020, streaming on Apple TV Plus. In September, he and fellow member Mike D were present at the unveiling of Beastie Boys Square in New York City.  

Marcus Rashford

One of the most recognizable faces in football in the past decade is Marcus Rashford. He’s also one of the most famous celebrities with Halloween birthdays. The Manchester United player will be turning 26 this year. Beyond his successful football career, he has become a strong activist and philanthropist. The English star is usually out of the spotlight outside his professional endeavors, but in 2022, he spent the morning of his birthday giving money to trick-or-treaters in Manchester.

Sydney Park

Sydney Park will be turning 26 in 2023. Regardless, she’s an acting veteran and has been on the screen since childhood. At six, she became the youngest comedian to perform at Hollywood Improv. Beyond that, she succeeded on America’s Got Talent and That’s So Raven. In line with Halloween, Sydney's birthdays are quite the treat! Furthermore, she participated in multiple Halloween-centered ads as a Lush Cosmetics ambassador. It’s safe to say she’s truly immersed in the spooky season.

Vanilla Ice

The chart-topping, record-breaking Vanilla Ice is considered a one-hit wonder in Hip Hop. Regardless, he also joins the pack of celebs with Halloween birthdays. While his music career has been on a long break, he’s still a notable name in Hip Hop. His 1990 party hit, “Ice Ice Baby,” was the first ever Hip Hop tune to top the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, it topped the charts in numerous other countries, including Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.  In 2011, he released the album W.T.F. (Wisdom, Tenacity and Focus), which housed the single “Born on Halloween.” The song featured the horrorcore rap group Insane Clown Posse and shouted out his birthday. Vanilla Ice will celebrate his 56th birthday this year.

Rob Schneider

Veteran actor and comedian Rob Schneider also celebrates his birthday on Halloween. He will leave the 50s behind and turn 60 this year. Schneider started his stand-up comedian career before venturing into film and television. After breaking through on Saturday Night Live, he became a bona fide star. His birthdays aren’t usually public spectacles, but he is indeed a fan of the Halloween season. In 2020, he joined his longtime friend and collaborator Adam Sandler in the horror-comedy Hubie Halloween
