On Friday night, Safaree Samuels accused Meek Mill's crew of jumping him outside a BET Awards pre-party. Footage of the alleged attack surfaced shortly thereafter, but according to Meek, he had nothing to do with it.
When approached by a TMZ cameraman with questions about Safaree, Meek repsonded mockingly with "Who?," before clarifying that there "ain't no beef" between the two. As far as Safaree's request for the two to fight one-on-one (which fellow Meek rival The Game has shown his support for), the Philly rapper suggested "I'm a don, I don't even fight... I don't even know how they got us confused with that type stuff."
Meanwhile, Safaree did an interview with BET about the situation. "I understand your place of desperation in wanting acknowledgment from me," he said. "One day we can hug it out and shake hands and be friends, but until then you'll just have to watch me rise from where you are -- and I feel like that's what's hurting some of these people's hearts."
