After one year away from the game of football, Mike Vick is apparently ready to officially call it quits by hosting a retirement party this weekend in Houston ahead of Super Bowl LI.
According to TMZ, Gucci Mane will be co-hosting Vick's official retirement party which is slated to take place at Houston nightclub Grooves this Saturday, February 4th.
He last played in 2015 as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers, though he only appeared in five games.
The 36-year old QB, a former #1 overall pick of the Atlanta Falcons, has recently said that he still thinks he can play in the league and is better than any current backup quarterback but it looks like it's really over now. There's no coming back from an "official retirement party."
Vick was selected to four Pro Bowls during his career and was named Comeback Player of the Year in 2010 after he returned to the NFL following an 18-month prison sentence for dog fighting.
