Over the weekend Serena Williams notched her 23rd major title in straight sets at the Australian Open, leading Nike to cook up something special in honor of the momentous occasion.
In addition to the black and pink "Serena" Air Jordan 1s, Nike also released two renditions of the NikeCourt Flare, one that features the familiar black and pink color scheme as well as another that pays tribute to the iconic "Banned" Air Jordan 1.
With the win at the Australian Open on Saturday, Serena is now in sole possession of the "Open Era" record for Grand Slam titles and she can tie Margaret Court's all-time mark of 24 at the French Open.
The Serena Williams x Jordan collection released today, January 30th, in limited quantities at select Nike retailers including Nike Soho and Nike.com.
The NikeCourt Flare will retail for $200 and can be purchased here, while the "Serena" AJ1 is currently going for $100 via Nike.com.
