Australia's very own Iggy Azalea has stepped back on the grid, musically, to release a handful of new beats. The four singles are titled "Going Up" featuring LJay Currie, "Good," "Hate On It" and "Never Satisfied."
"Good" is a mellow pop-beat where Iggy details her life 10-years ago, where she used to dream about her current accomplishments. She then sings about her current state of contentment and all the success she's hit as of late. "Never Satisfied" hears Iggy rapping about a certain man and "walking the tightrope" for him, taken as a reference to her past relationship with Nick Young.
The project as a whole is Iggy trying to make her placement in the industry known, letting fans know she's fine and living a lavish lifestyle despite and past headlines with her name in it. The tracks are a way to hold fans over for her upcoming album release that has been put off for some time now. Way back when fans were waiting on her project Digital Distortion that was supposed to drop in June. Now, she reveals a name change to the album. It will be called Surviving The Summer.
Iggy tweeted that these four songs will not be on the upcoming drop, that she confirms is already finished.
Listen to the new beats and tell us what you think.
