Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" ain't moving this week.

Last week was a Cardi B frenzy. It seemed that every rapper was celebrating Cardi B finally landing the number one position on the Billboard 100. Aside from that, "Bodak Yellow" was also certified platinum by the RIAA, making it her first ever single to reach either accomplishment. However, it seems that her chart topping single doesn't look like it'll be moving from the number one position this week.

Cardi B took to Instagram this morning to announce that "Bodak Yellow" has maintained it's position at number one this week on the charts. The rapper posted a tweet from Billboard with the caption "THANNNKKKK YOUUUU!!!!!! Everyyyyybodyyy .Im giving all my followers a Dollar...SIKEEEEEE!!!!...ain’t got money like that yet." Along with a top position for a second week in a row, she also took to the Gram to post a screenshot of chartdata's tweet. Chartdata is now saying that "Bodak Yellow" is eligible to be 2x Platinum in the USA. The song just hit platinum status last week, so it's looking like the hype around the song has not died down just yet.

"Bodak Yellow" recent success has been celebrated throughout the country. Cardi B's dentist even said that one of the lines in the song has helped triple her business. However, she also celebrated it over the weekend by linking up with Lyft to give NYC riders a customized graphic on their phones when they ordered a ride. The custom graphic included a picture of Cardi B's face with a platinum record to distinguish other cars in the area while you could track your own ride down by a graphic of Cardi's wild nail art. The success of the song has been opening up a lot of doors for Cardi, so it'll be interesting to see what she gets up to next.
