Ahead of last night's NBA Draft, Foot Locker and Slam Magazine teamed up with Brian Scalabrine to chat with some of the incoming rookies about a wide range of topics including their favorite sneakers and best style in the NBA.
In speaking with Sacramento Kings' #5 pick, De'Aaron Fox, Scalabrine found out that the former Kentucky guard shares his passion for Nike Kobe sneakers, which led to them both suggesting that "someone" is already trying to remake those beloved shoes.
"Oh wait, someone's trying that," Scalabrine said.
"Someone is," said Fox simultaneously. "So we're on the same page."
Of course, that "someone" is Lonzo Ball, whose Big Baller Brand ZO2 Prime sneakers bear a striking resemblance to Kobe low-top signature silhouette.
The ongoing rivalry between these two guards (and their fathers) is only going to continue in the NBA, especially now that they're playing in the same division.
