Aminé's had a great year through 2017. He's made his name known throughout the music industry but it looks like he's trying to gear that up a notch. The rapper took the year by storm with his debut album and since then, he's been keeping himself busy with shows and appearances. It's only been a few months since he dropped Good For You but today, he drops off a brand new track.
Aminé comes through with his bouncy, funky new single, "Squeeze." It's a short track however, he still gets his point across clear. While the track has a bit of a darker edge to it, Aminé flexes and demands the credit he deserves on the track. Lines like, "Secret: Good for You the best album my life/ Writer and director, actor, rapper, I'm a prize," has Aminé gunning at the industry and his peers to give him the credit as not only a rapper but a creative as a whole. It's definitely a nice little joint to hear from him, especially giving time for his album to digest.
As of right now, Aminé is currently supporting his album on the "Tour For You" tour with opening act Towkio. The tour kicked off on October 6th in Seattle, WA and is wrapping up in Los Angeles on Nov. 16th. There's only a few left to go at this point, so you better hurry up and get your tickets. It seems like a tour that you shouldn't miss. He recently announced as part of his tour, he'll be wearing the same pair of pants until it ends. The reason behind it is he's getting one member of the audience on each date to write on their city's patch. It's a pretty interesting approach to holding onto the memories in each city.
Quotable Lyrics
Unapologetic (bitch), success is my fetish
Young, black, and handsome, that be my aesthetic, yeah
Fenty on my baby so my boo ain't got no blemishes
Put the kitty on my face, I could take you on a trip
