The OVO signees officially have a date for their second studio album.

It's official. OVO is set to take over the fall. In August, they revealed that every other artist on the label, aside from Drake, will be releasing new projects. DVSN have been probably the most revealing out of the roster in terms of their album. They recently dropped a beautiful trailer for Morning After and dropped the lead single off the project "Mood" yesterday. Today, they took to Instagram to announce that the album will be dropping on October 13th.

The Toronto duo further build the anticipation for this project. The new trailer they've released serves as a continuation to the album announcement trailer they dropped last week. This one features a first person camera angle following the male lead frantically running through some isolated streets. Once he starts running, some eerie piano keys come in, leading the dark instrumental piece that plays in the background. If you haven't been following their roll-out, you'd probably think it's fits more as a teaser for a horror movie than for an OVO artist. However, after the scene ends abruptly, they reveal the October 13th release date for the project.

The second trailer they've dropped keeps their project further in the realm of being a movie. The album cover of their project features credits at the bottom like a theatrical poster. However, considering they've been dropping visual trailers that seem to be connected, it's becoming more and more likely that their album may also come with some sort of short-film as well. They've done a solid job conceptualizing the whole project for it's roll-out.

So with DVSN now having a release date for their upcoming album, it seems like they'll be leading the slew of OVO releases this fall. They are the only ones thus far that with a definite release date. The duo have been making plenty of waves since they first released their self-titled project back in 2015. As they dropped the first single off of the project yesterday, chances are we'll be getting at least one or two more before the Morning After drops.

Hopefully with this announcement, we'll be getting dates on Partynextdoor, Roy Wood$ and Majid Jordan soon.
