While she has collaborated with an array of respected rap stars, including Migos, Snoop Dogg, Juicy J, and Kanye West, she has also been the subject of some troubling and awkward reports. Earlier this month, Perry's flippant use of the "n-word" resurfaced, leading to many questioning her place and position within hip-hop culture.
And then this happened.
The video, which highlights some of Perry's "hip-hop" inspired moves, has been the subject of some serious draggery. Even former collaborator Snoop Dogg got in on the action, sharing the video on his IG account. Charlamagne also shared the same clip, along with the comment "I haven't seen someone white dance this white in a very long time."
