Smooky Margielaa & Honcho Da Savage connect on "Misfit."

Smooky Margielaa's a young artist to keep an eye out for. He's been making waves over the past few months due to his contributions on A$AP Mob's Cozy Tapes Vol. 2 project that dropped in August. The young rapper was featured on “Black Card,” “BYF,” “Get the Bag” and “Bahamas.” He landed those placements after A$AP Rocky randomly saw him performing in a NYC club. Now, he's making some major moves on his own and has delivered some pretty promising singles. Today, he drops off the Honcho Da Savage assisted new single, "Misfit."

Honcho Da Savage and Smooky Margielaa fit perfectly together on this track. The two of them deliver melodic, auto-tune driven flows over the aggressive production on the track. They swap bars over a frenetic beat while they come through with some braggadocious bars and some quotable lines. It's definitely a solid record from the two of them. Considering that they both are artists on the come up, it makes sense that they join forces to prove that they're gunning to take over the game.

Since the release of Cozy Tapes Vol. 2, Smooky's been catching everyone's attention. He's delivered four singles on his Soundcloud within the past month or so, including "Margiela Man" which also featured Honcho Da Savage alongside Drew Drippy. He's slowly making his way to the forefront of hip hop with every release. Since he's extremely young, it'll be interesting to see how his music ends up evolving over the years. Clearly, if you're linking up with one of the more prominent hip hop collectives in the game, there's a lot of potential seen that will be unlocked in the future.

Quotable Lyrics
I got a thirty clip
It gon' do dirty shit
Pull up and empty clips
Boy, you not meant for this
