Gucci has dominated 2017 so far. After his release in 2016, he came out a new man. So new in fact, that conspiracy theories of Gucci Mane actually being a clone started bubbling. Those rumors died down relatively quick and Gucci Mane continued to dominate the globe with his lovable personality and the great music he's been putting out. Last month, he was supposed to drop his eleventh studio album, Mr. Davis. However, it later got pushed back due to the release of his autobiography. Tomorrow, he finally drops the project but before that, he's gifted us with the new video for "Members Only."
Gucci Mane's always been about his money and his business. His latest video for "Members Only" is a testament to the type of money he's been getting. Throughout the video, he's seen jogging and flexing on a massive mansion in Ireland. He's later driving around in a golf cart with all smiles. Sound-wise, "Members Only" brings Gucci Mane back to the raw and gritty trap music he was putting out prior to his most recent incarceration. His flow even has remnants of some of his older work.
This is the second song he's dropped off the project today. This morning, he unveiled the Ty Dolla $ign assisted "Enormous" which had production from TM88, OG Parker and Rex Kudo.
With Mr. Davis slated to drop tonight, Gucci Mane may have one of the top hip hop releases of 2017. The project has been long-awaited but it also has a stacked list of features which contrasts the release of Droptopwop. A$AP Rocky, ScHoolboy Q, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown and Big Sean are among some of the names on the project. He also has production from TM88, Metro Boomin' and NAV among others. Keep your eyes peeled for the album to drop tonight.
