Shyne has been taking shots at many rappers as of late, Diddy, Rick Ross and President Obama included, and now Drake comes in his line of fire.
While talking to MTV News, Shyne said of Drizzy, "What does he do? He's an actor from Canada. So he just studied Lil Wayne, studied Kanye... he studied them and he just acts like a street kid?"
"These dudes couldn't exist in the Raekwon, Ghostface era," Shyne said of the '90s era he came up in. "If Big and 'em was around and 'Pac, c'mon man, they'd have these dudes for lunch."
"That's my problem with this culture, you can say anything you want, you can promote anything you want and nobody's held accountable, and then they'll say that I'm hatin'," the former Bad Boy voiced his annoyances with today's culture. "I would really prefer Drake to sing about girls and sing about being a good kid from Canada and whatever that entails."
Although Shyne had previously been in negotiations with the YMCMB label in 2010, he held nothing back when discussing his dislike towards the label's rapper/singer."I don't care about no business, man. It's the truth," he said, before targeting Rick Ross once more. "When you standin' next to the target, you get hit too ... So if fat boy is his man, I'm gunning him down too."
Do you agree with Shyne?
