Leon Lawson Jr., the uncle and assistant trainer of super middleweight Andre Dirrell, is wanted on two assault charges for sucker punching Dirrell's opponent, Jose Uzcategui, over the weekend in Las Vegas.
In the 8th round of their fight, Uzcategui connected with Dirrell just after the bell had sounded, knocking him out and forcing the ref to call the fight.
As a ringside doctor checked on Dirrell, his Uncle walked up to Uzcategui and two pieced him in the jaw but managed to escape the arena during the commotion. According to ESPN, police said they were searching for Lawson and that he would be arrested when found.
