Audio Push continue to roll out new videos in support of their Last Lights Left album. After hitting us with “Planet Live Is Live” & “Stay” recently, the duo consisting of Oktane & Price decide to come through today and share their third one for “Grits.”
Taking it back to the olden days, Price & Oktane head down to the South and shoot a vintage, choreographed video that finds them appropriately dressed to the nines & getting jiggy at a restaurant. After finding out the password to the restaurant is “grits,” the two throw a wild party full of dancing and booze, while in between jumpin' on some horses. It’s a pretty vintage clip to say the least. Check it out (above) and let us know what you think. Video directed by Audio Push themselves.
“This is one of our favorite songs we’ve ever made,” Price said about the song. “Everything from creating the beat and trying to tap into a bounce that’s missing right now, to the hook saying something that’s never been said before. We could’ve easily said, ‘Pop dat ass’ or something, but ‘Make it hot, stir the grits’ is just everything.”
Last Lights Left available now on iTunes. For those of y’all who've been sleeping, Last Lights Left comes with no guest features & finds the duo of Price & Oktane handling all 12 records by themselves. Speaking on the album title, the Inland Empire duo described it as the following:
"We decided to call this album the LAST LIGHTS LEFT because that is what we feel like we are to the music industry and sometimes the world! In a generation where everything is cool to be dark, satanic, killing in every other rap bar, No creativity or originality in the music, fake people [and] fake winning, we just realized we are THE LAST LIGHTS TO SHINE ON THE DARKNESS. This is the start of a new beginning for Audio Push and The Good Vibe Tribe. No Labels. No Boundaries!”
