Here's what the Top-25 poll looks like heading into Week 2.

The first college football weekend of the season is in the books and the AP have released the first Top-25 rankings of the college football regular season. And once again, the Alabama Crimson Tide are sitting atop the rankings, after taking care of the #3 ranked Florida State Seminoles on Saturday night.

According to ESPN, Bama secured 60 of 61 first-place votes in the first Top 25 of the regular season, following their 24-7 win. The Seminoles fell from third to tenth in the poll as a result of Saturday night's loss. To make matters worse, FSU's starting QB, Deondre Francois, suffered a season ending patella tendon injury in his left knee late in the fourth quarter. ESPN reports that many AP voters said Florida State would not have dropped as far on their ballots had Francois not been injured.

With Florida State dropping out of the top four, a couple of teams were able to move up in the rankings, including the defending champion Clemson Tigers who are now sitting in third, just behind Ohio State who remains at #2. The Penn State Nittany Lions, who trumped Akron by the final of 52-0, are now ranked #4, followed by the Oklahoma Sooners at #5.

With the University of Oklahoma coming in at #5, college football fans will be treated to yet another matchup between two top-5 teams this weekend, as the Sooners will travel to The Horseshoe in Ohio on Saturday night for a showdown with the #2 ranked Buckeyes. That game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30pm ET on ABC.

The formerly #4 ranked USC Trojans picked up a win over the weekend but because they narrowly defeated Western Michigan they dropped in the standings to #6. The Michigan Wolverines made the biggest improvement of any Top-25 team this weekend, jumping 11 spots up to #8 after Saturday's 33-17 over the Florida Gators.
