When Phresher worked with Remy Ma, he didn't expect that her long-simmering beef with Nick Minaj would pop off the way it did on "shETHER." In an interview with The Breakfast Club Tuesday, the New York rapper had one word of advice for his beleaguered peer.
"Just drop a hit record," he said as Charlamagne and Envy protested. "It doesn't matter. People want to hear it. I would drop a record with Drake and Tunechi. They gon' pay for it."
When Charlamagne replied that it could hurt Minaj, Phresher said that she could make money off her beef with Remy. However, when Angela Yee asked him what he would do if he were in Nicki's shoes, Phresher hesitated saying he wouldn't drop a simple diss track.
"It depends on the situation," he said. "I would definitely drop a record. Drake did it the best -- "Back to Back" -- that was a record. You got to have a song at the same time. If you're going to send a shot back have a record as well."
Phresher highlighted that Drake's Meek Mill diss track was a huge commercial success. Check out his interview in the clip below.
