Kanye West's Adidas Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase , the most affordable Yeezy sneaker to date, will be releasing in two new colorways at the start of 2018. According to Sneaker News, the all-grey and all-black colorways of the Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase will be dropping in January - each will retail for $120.
Just last week we saw Kanye himself in the grey Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase. The next day, Kim Kardashian provided a more detailed look at the grey colorway as well as a brand new black pair. Like the original Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase, both of these kicks feature a monochromatic design, this time featuring an all-grey build with contrasting Adidas Calabasas branding on the paneling.
The first Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase release sold for just $120 but is going for as much as $300 on the resale market at spots like Flight Club. No word yet on exactly when the grey and black colorways will release, but all signs point to them hitting retailers sometime in January 2018.
Kanye will reportedly unveil Yeezy Season 6 during New York Fashion Week next month which will include another range of Yeezy apparel, and potentially a handful of new sneakers, including colorways of the Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase and the newly unveiled Yeezy Wave Runner 700. NYFW is scheduled to kick off on Thursday, September 7th and will run through Thursday, September 14th, but it still hasn't been announce when or where Kanye's Yeezy show will take place.
In addition to the Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase and the Yeezy Wave Runner 700, Kanye and Adidas also have big plans for the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in the coming months.
Adidas will reportedly release the "Beluga 2.0" colorway of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in October, similar to the original "Beluga" pair, followed by two of the most colorful renditions of the low top Yeezys to date. The "Blue Tint" Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and the "Semi-Frozen Yellow" colorway are both rumored to drop in December, although Adidas has not yet announced any official release details. Some other Yeezy Boost colorways have also surfaced, including a "Red Night" version and a women's exclusive "Chalk Coral" joint, but it appears those are just sample pairs.
