He shared the post on his Instagram page earlier today to celebrate. He also included a clip of several children dancing from his recent "SHAKE SUMN" music video. Some commenters on the original post are calling the news into question. Many believed that other artists, like Post Malone, Quavo, and more, should have been considered as candidates.
"Welcome DaBaby," Hip Hop All Day wrote, adding, "His 2020 run will go down in the history books." When one social media user asked about Post Malone, the account responded. "He’s never been a rapper but he has 10," they wrote. The songs that reached one billion streams on Spotify are Pop Smoke's "For The Night" featuring DaBaby and Lil Baby, Dua Lipa's "Levitating" featuring DaBaby, and DaBaby's "ROCKSTAR" featuring Roddy Rich.
