When Cardi B goes Live on Instagram, you never know what you'll get. Earlier this month followers watched her take a break from eating Popeyes chicken to twerk along to her most recent single, "Put It On Da Floor Again." The collaboration with Latto has been a huge success for the pair, but in her latest stream, the New York rap diva made it known that she doesn't plan to only work with "big, charting" artists to guarantee success. Instead, she's feeling called to work with those making music that really stands out to her.
"I feel like y'all constantly ask me to do big collabs," the mother of two explained to those tuning in earlier this week. "I'm not gonna be collabing with everybody that's big. I'm gonna be collabing with people that make my f**king ears jump and make me happy," Cardi added. She also made it clear that it's tiring for fans to constantly encourage her to hop on whatever track is charting at the moment. "If I like it, I'm gonna get on it," the 30-year-old assured them. "Even if it doesn't make sense."
Cardi B Gives an Update on Her Future Vision
Now that she's been at the top of the rap game for several years, Cardi is feeling more "comfortable in her position to do so." Ahead of her sophomore album (which she promised is coming soon earlier this year), the fashionista is feeling like her "confidence is all the way up" in all areas of her life. "I always been a b**ch that pulls ni**as, that pulls b**ches," she reminded viewers. "Your f**king favourite rappers, your favourite f**king favourite athletes f**king been in my DMs and f**king waiting for a chance, but it will never happen!"
"N**as d**ks and b**ches p***ies start shaking when they hear I'm gonna drop something," the "WAP" hitmaker further bragged as her Live went on.
