Billie Eilish showed off a new chest tattoo in a bikini picture posted on Instagram by her friend, Annabel Zimmer, who is the daughter of legendary composer Hans Zimmer. In the photo, she rocks a Miaou bikini top and Versace shades while catching some sun. The post marks the first time she's shown off the tattoo publically, having previously promised to never show it to fans.
“I did get a tattoo,” she said during an interview with Vanity Fair when she was just 18. “But you won’t ever see it.” Rolling Stone later reported that the tattoo featured her last name “in an ornate, gothic font.” She got it done after the 2020 Grammys, where she won Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist.
Billie Eilish's Met Gala Outfit
Eilish's style has been a topic of conversation since she came into the music industry as a teenager. She began by exclusively wearing more baggy, masculine clothes before branching out in recent years. In a post on her Instagram Story, earlier this year, she addressed the backlash she's received in doing so.
"I spent the first five years of my career getting absolutely obliterated by you fools for being boyish and dressing how I did (and) constantly being told I’d be hotter if I acted like a woman," Eilish wrote at the time. "Now when I feel comfortable enough to wear anything remotely feminine or fitting, I changed and am a sellout. Let women exist! Did you know that women are multifaceted? Shocking right? Believe it or not, women could be interested in multiple things."
