Cardi B seems to have found fresh inspiration to release new music following her experience at Summer Jam. It has been over five years since her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, won a Grammy and became available on streaming platforms. Since then, her fans have eagerly awaited her second album. While she has released a few singles in recent years, she hasn't unveiled a significant amount of new music. Notable hits like "WAP" featuring Megan Thee Stallion and "Up" have been exceptions, but overall, it has been relatively quiet. Instead, Cardi B has been featured on tracks by other artists.
Most recently, Cardi B collaborated with Latto on a song titled "Put It On The Floor Again." They performed the track during Cardi's headline set at Summer Jam 2023. Although she didn't premiere any new music at the event, her return to the Tri-State Area seems to have reignited her motivation to release fresh tracks. Cardi delivered an impressive performance, with guest appearances by 21 Savage, Dougie B, and GloRilla. Now, it appears that she is ready to return to the recording studio and work on new music. In the meantime, Cardi posts plenty of content on her socials for fans to interact with.
Cardi's Son Wave Plays With Cash, Not Toys
Cardi B and Offset's son is a "bad boy." Offset recently shared a video featuring their son, Wave. In the video, he seems to already living a lavish lifestyle. The clip shows the toddler is wearing diamond earrings and playing with toys. The toys in question, however, are actually bundles of cash. Offset captioned the video with "Bad Boy Wave." In another photo within the slide, numerous $100 bills are scattered on the floor. Wave looks on with curiosity, clearly not certain what they are. Towards the end of the video, he appears tired and amusingly prepares for bath time.
Cardi B and Offset welcomed Wave into the world in 2021. He was their second child together, following the birth of their daughter Kulture in 2018. Offset has frequently expressed his desire to provide his children with a luxurious upbringing. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in September, he explained, "At the end of the day, we went through life and we didn't have the opportunities… So I'm just lending it to my kids. Just letting them see they can have another life too, you know? We work hard to do that." What do you think of Cardi and Offset's philosophy on raising kids? Let us know in the comments!
