Many people were talking about the announcements made during Apple's developer conference a few days ago. What most people zeroed in on is the new "Vision Pro," discussing some of the strange imagery it produced and the $3500 price tag. One of those talking about the device was rapper Lupe Fiasco who saw potential in combining the device with Logic Pro to make music. He tweeted that thought alongside a funny gif of what it might look like making music while wearing the vision pro.
In a comment replying to the post, a fan expressed a sentiment that many artists are very used to hearing. "Long as we get more music," the fan said and Lupe had the absolute perfect response. In a quote tweet of that comment, Lupe Fiasco dropped a clip of himself listening to some of his new music. Even though it's just a 30-second clip it was a great way to answer fans calling for new music. The song doesn't appear to have been made with the vision pro and it doesn't have any release date at the moment.
Lupe Fiasco Gives Fans A Taste Of New Heat
Lupe Fiasco's last new music came in April when he dropped "SentRock." The song was a collaboration with the visual artist SentRock who painted a picture inspired by Lupe's lyrical output. The painting served as the cover for the single and it's still being sold online for $400. Lupe's most recent album DRILL MUSIC IN ZION dropped last June. The album featured much of his familiar style with occasional interpretations of the motifs of drill music.
Lupe has found other ways to keep himself busy though. In March he was named the Saybrook Fellow at Yale. That followed another foray into higher education last year when he was given the title of visiting professor at MIT. Just this morning he made a tweet giving his support in the 2024 election to People's Party candidate Cornel West. Tell us what you think about Lupe's new snippet and making music in the Vision Pro in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the music world.
