Mathaius Young unleashes his latest single, "WYW."

Mathaius Young was working behind the scenes before he hopped into the spotlight. He began as a producer before he became a rapper. Overtime, he mastered both crafts. The rapper is currently signed to Nomad Music Group and he dropped his most recent mixtape Take The Night Away through the label in May. The project fully showcased his talents in both realms of rapping and in producing. While it's only been a few months since that drop, today he dropped off a new song, "WYW."

Mathaius Young makes music suited for various scenarios. Songs that can make you want to bob your head or just kick back and smoke a blunt to. "WYW" is a perfect example of that. The self-produced joint features some grungy, atmospheric sounds layered on top of some cruncy drums. Throughout the track, Young showcases his slick word play but also his ability to switch up the flow to catch your attention. It's a braggadocious tune, that'll definitely have you and your friends singing alone the words to the hook while whipping around.

Young's been killing it throughout this year. Aside from the release of his mixtape, he connected with Sonny Digital to co-produced the beat for the XXL Freshman Freestyle with Kyle, Aminé and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. He's also been delivering some stand-out guest verses. Most recently, he hopped on Tre Capital's "Walking On Air Pt. II." He also linked up with Scotty Apex on "OH NO." It's exciting to see what he gets up next. Check out his latest track and keep an eye out for what he gets up to next.

Quotable Lyrics
Never sleepin', got  a bad habit
'Cause of that, we doin' mathematics
Put this rap money with this trap money
make an ol' nigga take a stab at it
