WAY I WALKWAY I WALK
Doe Boy's new track explains how he outshines the competition.

Doe Boy is as prolific as ever dropping his second new single of 2023 "WAY I WALK." The song dropped on Monday following a long battle Doe Boy went on in order to clear its key sample. It took him a year trying to get the rights to use a sample of a popular remix of Jennifer Lopez's 2001 song "I'm Real." After the sample was finally cleared he posted a video thanking J-Lo and rapper Ja Rule for their help in the process.

The song was released with an accompanying music video, both of which cover the type of ground you'd expect Doe Boy to. The single is part of the rollout for his highly anticipated new album BEEZY. The record comes out in just a few days via Freebandz and Epic Records and you can pre-order it now. Doe Boy has been previewing music on his Instagram all week including an unreleased collab with DaBaby. It's currently unclear which of the songs he's played will ultimately end up on BEEZY.

Doe Boy Brings The Heat

Doe Boy also took to Instagram to celebrate the release of this song after the long battle to clear the sample. “Everybody say THANK YOU @jlo. ‘WAY I WALK’ finally cleared,” he captioned the post. “Way I Walk” is the second new single Doe Boy has released this year following “Roll The Dice” with Dej Loaf which dropped back in April. These two tracks follow a prolific 2022 for Doe Boy where he dropped two projects. His album OH REALLY and the following EP CATCH ME IF YOU CAN both received critical acclaim and helped give him quite a bit of momentum coming into this year.

Doe Boy has been regularly releasing mixtapes since 2016. He had the cosign of major artists like Future and Lil Durk right out of the gate. Before last year his biggest release was 2020's Demons R Us, but OH REALLY may have overtaken it. Tell us what you think of the song in the comments below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Gang sh*t, just the way I talk
I don't drive-by no more, this just the way I walk
Gang sh*t, he had them things, got crossed
She don't f*ck with broke lames, that's why your main got bought
