The first weekend of June is quickly wrapping up, and with it came some amazing new music. At the top of our latest R&B Season update is a collaboration from The Weeknd, Playboi Carti, and Madonna, which appears on the Canadian artist's new HBO series, The Idol. After sharing the single, he spoke with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, where Abel Tesfaye revealed that writing and co-producing a Madonna album has been a longtime dream of his that we'll hopefully see come to fruition in the future.
Following that we have an impressive offering from Burna Boy, "Sittin' On Top Of The World," which has been receiving rave reviews across social media so far. While Metron Boomin's new Spider-Man: Across The Spiderverse soundtrack is heavily focused on hip-hop, the renowned producer also linked up with James Blake for "Hummingbird." Elsewhere, a collaborative effort between RJAE and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie called "Remember That," also caught our attention.

Ty Dolla Sign is back for the second weekend in a row with his new "Motion" single. It follows his reunion with ex, Lauren Jauregui for their latest collaboration, "Wolves," which also features Russ. Aside from that, we've also got love for another Canadian crooner, Roy Woods. He's back with yet another must-listen song, this one called "Don't Mind Me." So far this year, he's also given us "Young Boy Problems" and "Don't Love Me," both of which are still in rotation for many fans.
Our final pick of the week comes from "GOD DID" collaborator Fridayy, who linked up with Chris Brown on "Don't Give It Away." Together, the vocally talented duo made magic that's the perfect end to our weekly roster. Find every song on today's R&B Season round-up exclusively on Spotify above.
