The mother of YG's children has seemingly reacted to the new pictures of him with Saweetie in Cabo. In a post on her Instagram Story, Catelyn Sparks wrote that having kids with someone doesn't make them "family."
"Just because we got the same blood don't make us family & just because we got kids don't make us family.. cuz with "family" like mine? I rather not have any," Catelyn wrote over a black screen. She and YG share two daughters.
YG At Coachella
When The Neighborhood Talk reposted the statement, fans had plenty of responses. One commented, "Why the baby mamas always speak out when they get a new girlfriend? I never understood that." Another wrote: "Y’all be acting like Saweetie is an Angel and she’s NOT lol she snakes Kehlani by being with YG but y’all not ready for this conversation."
In their pictures together, YG can be seen in a pool wearing a black fitted cap. Saweetie, on the other hand, rocks a pink bikini. YG and Saweetie have worked together on music on multiple occasions over the years. The two appeared on Tyga's “Money Mouf” in 2020 and Mozzy's “In My Face” in 2022. While the new photographs are the most indicative of a romance between the two yet, they previously attended Coachella together. Saweetie was also a guest at YG’s 33rd birthday party in West Hollywood in March alongside Travis Scott, Offset, Mustard, Ty Dolla $ign, A$AP Ferg, and more stars.
Catelyn Sparks Responds On IG
Neither YG nor Saweetie is new to being in a celebrity relationship. YG previously dated actress Keke Palmer as well as singer Kehlani. Saweetie, alternatively dated Quavo from 2018 through 2021. They split after the Migos rapper was accused of cheating on her. “I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation," Sweetie wrote on Twitter at the time.
