A historic game is taking place tonight.

Kendrick Perkins is a huge Boston Celtics fan. Overall, this should not be a surprise to anyone. After all, he played for the Celtics and got to experience some great seasons with them. However, there is no doubt that his fandom has been ramped up a bit when you consider how they are about to come back from an unfathomable deficit. The Celtics were down 3-0 to the Miami Heat. Subsequently, they won three-straight games and now get to play a Game 7 at home. If they win, they will become the first team in NBA history to come back from an 0-3 deficit and win the series.

Heading into this game, most people believe the Celtics will end up winning. Overall, this is due to the fact that they have momentum on their side. Moreover, the Heat look pretty cooked right now. They can't hit big shots, and Jimmy Butler has been outplayed. Not to mention, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown should be enough for the team to get over the hump and win. All-in-all, the pundits have the Celtics pulling off the comeback of the century.

Kendrick Perkins Speaks

This includes Kendrick Perkins, who spoke about Game 7 today on First Take. As you can see in the clip above, he is taking the Boston Celtics to win this matchup. Ultimately, that is not a surprise. However, it is worth noting just because he has been adamant about how good the Celtics are this season. Furthermore, he spoke about Jimmy Butler and Jayson Tatum's legacies. In his mind, Butler has more to lose tonight, as he would be seen as the ultimate choke artist with a loss.

Legacy Talk

Considering how historic this comeback would be, you can't help but agree with Big Perk. There is no excuse for losing this kind of series. Jimmy Butler's talents would be put into question, and he would not be able to escape that, even if he tried. At the end of the day, he just has to go out there and win.
