Starting next season all NBA teams will have advertisements on their jerseys, such as the Boston Celtics who will be repping for General Electric with a "GE" patch on the left shoulder of their uniform.
ESPN's Darren Rovell gave a first look at some of the new uniform designs today which also includes the Sacramento Kings' "Blue Diamond Almond" jersey as well as the Philadelphia Sixers' "StubHub" unis.
According to Rovell, the Sixers and Kings sold this 2½-by-2½ inch space for about $5 million each (annually) but other teams like the Warriors are reportedly asking for something in the $15-$20 million range.
These corporate logos will be present on all home, away and alternate jerseys in the 2017-18 season, although fans will still be able to buy jerseys sans-advertisements.
