Offset got very honest about his previous struggles.

Offset and Cardi B have been together for a while now. Although these two have had their fair share of issues over the years, it is clear they still very much love each other. The couple has two kids together, and overall, they have proven to be great parents. One just has to look at the lunches Cardi packs for Kulture to see exactly what we mean. Aside from that, they clearly care a lot about their children, and they are always hyping them up on social media. Overall, fans are just happy to see Offset doing so well.

However, it has been a long road for the former Migos rapper. Currently, he is still grieving the loss of his best friend Takeoff. Moreover, he and Quavo are still on bad terms, which certainly must weigh on him. In the past, Offset has also dealt with some substance abuse issues. As he told Variety in a recent interview, he used to be addicted to Lean. However, he eventually kicked this habit because of his family. In fact, he mostly credits Cardi B as the reason why he stopped doing the drug.

Offset Explains The Extent Of His Addiction

“I put down lean. I was drinking my whole career," Offset explained. "It opened my mind up, but I never thought it helped me create. I feel like getting past that, cleaning up, and putting that message out.” Overall, Lean addiction has been all too common in the hip-hop world. It has even claimed the lives of some artists. Simply put, it's good that Offset quit. Otherwise, he could have gone down a dark road.

Moving forward, Offset is focused on his brand-new album. This new project will have a ton of great features, and there is no doubt that fans are excited about it. That said, there are still quite a few details left to be fleshed out. Consequently, we encourage you to stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the music world.
