Yung Gravy took a hard fall at Hangout Fest.

Minnesota rapper Yung Gravy is reportedly injured after falling during his performance at Hangout Fest. Gravy was passing roses out to his supporters when his foot caught a piece of plywood and he went down hard. The artist performed injured on Sunday, May 21. His fall left him with a broken left elbow and a broken right wrist, which he didn't discover until going to the ER the following day. Other performers at the festival included SZA, Lil Nas X, GloRilla, Russ, and more.

Unfortunately, the injury occurred at Gravy's first performance of his recently-announced tour. The tour features stops at festivals like BottleRock, Bonnaroo, Summerfest, Lollapalooza, Life Is Beautiful and more. Known for his 2022 Rick Astley-sampling single “Betty (Get Money),” Gravy also went viral for dating TikTok star Addison Rae's mom.

Gravy told Page Six of the 42-year-old, "I hit on her first, I knew of her and I thought she was fine." He said, "She’s like a Southern belle and I’m a Northern boy so it felt really cute and wholesome,” adding, “[I’m] into MILFs and she’s kinda the queen of MILFs.” His most recent album, Marvelous, was released in 2022. He announced the LP in September of that year, along with his release of the single "C'est La Vie." The rapper also later revealed the album's tracklist, revealing features from artists like TrippyThaKid and Ishdarr.

He told Paper in December, "The whole rap thing to me was a big risk at first. I didn't show my face on my songs." He revealed, "I had a job lined up for after school. I was going to open this office in Atlanta for the company I worked at." Gravy also shared that he "thought about using" the Rickroll sample for a long time prior to releasing “Betty (Get Money).” The rapper explained, "I just didn’t think we could clear it. I recorded the song but one of the writers wasn't down with it." He says, "one of the writers didn't like the language I was using, so [he] had to rewrite the whole song." He added that it became the first clean song he ever put out.
