Mike Tyson says that Jamie Foxx has suffered a stroke. Speaking on the Valuetainment podcast, the legendary fighter revealed what he knows about Foxx's undisclosed medical emergency. He also provided an update on the state of his biopic which stars the 55-year-old actor.
“He’s not feeling well. They said a stroke. I have no idea what happened to him,” Tyson said on the show. “Hey, listen, we can’t anticipate our next breath. We don’t know when we are gonna die. … After we leave, this bad stuff can happen.”

Tyson continued: “I don’t know what’s going to happen now. But, you know, it’s a strong possibility. Because, you know, Jamie’s closer to my age, so in order to do him, they were going to do what they did with [the movie] Benjamin Button. They were going to make him look younger.”
Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, initially confirmed that her father had been hospitalized in Atlanta back in April. In the following weeks, rumors were rampant about Foxx's condition as the family made no further updates. Eventually, Corinne came forward to reveal that Foxx was doing better day by day but still didn't explain the nature of his health scare. “Sad to see how the media runs wild. My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support,” she wrote in an update on Instagram. “We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”
As for that “exciting work announcement,” the two announced they are currently developing a new game show called We Are Family. Foxx and his daughter previously worked together on the series, Beat Shazam. She was seen visiting him at the rehab facility in Chicago over the weekend. TMZ reports that Dave Brown was present as well.
