Back in July, Vic Mensa released his highly anticipated debut album The Autobiography, which featured guest appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Chief Keef, Pharrell, Syd, The-Dream, Joey Purp & more. Having recently shared videos for tracks like “Rage” & “OMG” with Pusha T, the Chicago spitter decides to return to the scene today and share another video for his track “Rollin' Like A Stoner.”
Matching its title & sound, "Rollin' Like A Stoner" is a hazy & trippy new visual that takes us on an adventure through the mind of the Chicago rapper. From riding a motorcycle in the desert to flying around space, the Chicago rapper is “rolling like a stoner” in this vibrant and psychedelic video directed by Vic & Will Hasty.
Check it out (above) and let us know what you think. The Autobiography is available now on iTunes.
In other related news, it was just revealed a couple weeks ago that Vic will be tagging along on Jay Z’s upcoming “4:44” tour, and serve as the opening act which kicks off October 27 in Anaheim, CA. But before that goes down, the Chicago rapper will get some added practice when he takes the stage this weekend in Brooklyn for Tidal’s pop-up show x relief fundraiser for the Hurricane victims. In case you missed it, to gain entry as a fan, each person is required to bring toiletries or school supplies that would be donated to the various regions affected by Hurricane Harvey, Irma & Jose.
And that’s not all that Vic is doing to give back. The Chicago rapper will also be performing with Jay Z, Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, Cardi B, and many other A-lst artists for Tidal’s benefit concert on October 17. So the kid is doing plenty to give back. “With so many heartbreaking events happening across the world, I’m eager to lend my support to victims of the recent hurricanes and other natural disasters,” the Chicago rapper said.
