The clip, showing the rapper getting handsy with Johnson, was posted to The Shade Room's Instagram, leading to various responses from fans. Other commenters noted that Johnson seemed less than thrilled with the rapper, with one writing alongside laughing emojis, "Her facial expressions are LOUD she is beautiful though!!"
The couple also had a baby shower in December of 2021, and a clip from the event led to rumors that the pair were engaged. The video from the baby shower shows the rapper "gifting" Johnson a ring, leading to speculation surrounding an engagement. After Johnson discovered she was pregnant in April of 2021, Kodak Black's lawyer shared that the two were expecting a baby girl in September of that year. News of Kodak Black and Johnson's pregnancy followed rumors that the rapper was also engaged to his ex Mellow Rackz in February of 2021. Kodak Black also recently announced his upcoming album, Pistols & Pearls. He confirmed the album's release date on Instagram last week, and shared the LP's cover art and track list. The upcoming record will be the rapper's sixth LP, following 2022's Kutthroat Bill: Vol. 1. The news came after the artist teased the album in January, claiming that it would come out the next month. At the time, he told fans during an Instagram Live that he was, "Finna drop this album next month.” Pistols & Pearls will feature artists Loe Shimmy, VVSNCE, GorditoFlo, and more.
