Boston singer and rapper Coi Leray was recently awarded a plaque for her 2022 hit, "Players" going platinum in Canada. Leray accepted the plaque over the weekend during a show at REBEL in Toronto. She posted on Instagram later, sharing with followers how she was surprised with it. Leray wrote, "Amazing energy last night. They surprised me with a plaque during the performance." She continued, writing, "'PLAYERS' is PLATINUM IN CANADA," alongside a trophy emoji. Fans were eager to show her love in the comments section. One user wrote, "I love this for her.. I’ve always like her style and her confidence in herself since the beginning when everybody doubted her.. she’s been doing her shit." Another told her, "Your post has made me feel like anything is possible. Thank you for the inspiration."
At the show, Leray wore patent leather pants featuring blue details, and a coordinating bright blue leather bralette. She also showed off matching leather fingerless gloves, black boots, and some serious jewelry. The performer's Instagram post additionally showcases her taking celebratory shots straight from the bottle, and holding up the new plaque in front of her massive audience.

Leray And Her Crew Celebrate Going Platinum In Coordinating Fits
Alongside Leray, her crew also celebrated the artist's success in coordinating leather fits. One member wore a patent vest, while another hyped her up in a patent leather jacket. Another woman showed off black cargo pants and a patent crop top with bright blue details. One man featured in the post also matches Leray, wearing a sweater with a bright blue stripe and silver eyelets.
Last week, Leray updated fans on the status of her next album, revealing that it will be released on June 23. She also shared the album's scandalous cover art, featuring the artist going topless with some bright blue accents. "COI" will be her second LP, following her debut album, Trendsetter. Shortly after the announcement, she also teased an upcoming music video to accompany her single "BOPS" on Twitter. Leray responded to a fan asking about the video with a photo of herself on set twerking for the camera, writing, "Cominggggg."
