The dynamic duo have begun filming scenes for the next installment of the popular franchise.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are currently hard at work on a new movie together. They were seen on set shooting for the highly anticipated Bad Boys 4 in Atlanta. In January, the two actors delighted fans by announcing the production of the fourth installment of the Bad Boys franchise. They shared an exciting Instagram video captioned "IT'S ABOUT THAT TIME!" Then, in April, Smith and Lawrence made a special video appearance at CinemaCon. There, they explained their absence from the Las Vegas event.

They humorously revealed that they were unable to attend because they were already deeply immersed in the filming of the sequel. At the time, it had been underway for four weeks. In a lighthearted remark, Lawrence quipped, "We're not sorry we couldn't be there." Smith added, "We're glad we're not there because we're here, and they're paying us to be here." Both actors expressed their genuine enthusiasm and excitement for Bad Boys 4, describing themselves as "hyped" about the project.

The dynamic duo experienced great success at the box office when they joined forces once again for the third installment of the Bad Boys series, titled Bad Boys for Life, in 2020. It was an impressive reunion, taking place 25 years after the release of the original film. During a summer interview with Ebony magazine, Martin Lawrence expressed his optimism about the possibility of another Bad Boys sequel. The actor hinted at having at least one more installment in the pipeline.

Reflecting on the impact of the first film, Lawrence emphasized the significance of their collaboration and their ability to attract audiences and generate substantial revenue. He highlighted the groundbreaking achievement of two black sitcom stars proving their box office prowess. Furthermore, the actor shared his personal perspective on his career. He explained that while he didn't pursue higher education, his time in television served as a valuable learning experience. For him, transitioning to the world of movies felt like a different kind of accomplishment, akin to graduating from college.
