Russ follows up his song "Ride Slow" with a visual that sees him doing just that.
The New Jersey rapper dropped his album There's Really A Wolf this past May. The only other tracks on the album to get a visual treatment were "Me You" and "Got This."
This particular video sees the 25-year-old driving the streets on a rainy, gloomy night with a gyal by his side. She keeps popping in and out of the shots as he raps "we been goin' back and forth, you think I only want sex / Of course I want it, look at you but that ain't my intentions/ I've been tryna soak you up, maybe learn something/ I said I would never chase but you keep on running."
Some other notable lyrics are, "she got what everybody like/ She's everybody's type/ I know that your man took flight/ I know that your money ain't right/ I saw you at your worst, still think you're the best I'ma scoop you tonight."
As for recent collaborations, Russ released "Wife You Up" not too long ago that featured guitar chords by the talented John Mayor and got together with producer Scott Storch (who recently previewed new music with Jazz Cartier) for both tracks "Prosper" and "Maybe."
Russ was in the limelight recently for speaking his mind on rappers glamorizing drug abuse in their songs. He shared a photo of himself wearing an anti-drug shirt where some Twitter users were quick to call it "wack."
The "Down For You" rapper tweeted a number of tweets along the lines of him okay with being "the bad guy" and calling out other rappers and artists.
"If I stopped ONE kid from abusing xans or lean, mission accomplished..better than getting ONE kid to try that shit. Period," he also tweeted.
Check out the visual treatment, directed by Edgar Esteves, and tell us what you think. Who should Russ collaborate with next?
