Metro Boomin told Twitter that the podcast is his favorite thing to watch on YouTube.

American record producer Metro Boomin took to Twitter recently, sharing his thoughts on rappers Cam'ron and Ma$e's podcast, It Is What It Is. He revealed that it's his favorite thing to watch on YouTube, giving it a 10/10 rating. His Tweet reads, "#ItIsWhatItIs" is the best sports show out and my favorite thing to watch on YouTube. Cam and Ma$e got a real gem foshooooo and can't forget #statbaby too. Whole show 10/10 and makes my day every time they drop a new episode."

Earlier this week, Metro Boomin officially announced his soundtrack for the film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He also went on to share the soundtrack's cover art. He wrote on Instagram, “METRO BOOMIN PRESENTS SPIDER-MAN™: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE SOUNDTRACK.” Adding, “FROM AND INSPIRED BY THE MOTION PICTURE.” He reveals, “June 2nd I’m excited to share this album with the world!!”

He also shared a clip of one song from the soundtrack, “Link Up," featuring Don Toliver, on Twitter. The song was featured in a recent Hyundai commercial. He wrote, “New @SpiderVerse Hyundai commercial dropped today featuring ‘Link Up’ feat @DonToliver.” He goes on, saying, “Soundtrack dropping June 2nd featuring all original songs inspired by the film. #Metroverse.” Metro Boomin is also featured in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's writer, Phil Lord, posted about the producer's work on the film. He said, "For this next movie we brought in some reinforcements.” He continued, saying, “This time we are working with legendary Metro Boomin. If anybody is going to be able to make something that feels like it’s Miles’ experience.” He added, “that guy knows what he’s doing.” Kemp Powers, the film's co-director, also spoke on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse at CinemaCon recently. He said, “The new Spider-Verse movie coming to your theaters in just over two months is a continuation of the story of Miles Morales." He went on to share, “In this film, we’re going to explore new dimensions and bring in lots of characters old and new, but they still relate to the same emotional journey of miles and his family.” The movie is set to be released in June.
