DDG joked about being called an "E-list rapper" on Twitter, Monday, amid new Halle Bailey rumors.

DDG admitted that being labeled an "E-list rapper" by one media outlet recently was "kinda funny." He referenced the comment twice on Twitter, Monday, amid rumors of relationship trouble between himself and Halle Bailey.

“'E-list rapper' kinda funny ngl lol," he tweeted. Later, he shared that his new track, "I’m Geekin," was the second most added song on US Urban Radio. "Number 2 E-List rapper going crazy [laughing emoji] I’m Geekin remix this friday!!"

The newest breakup rumors stemmed from one viral tweet claiming that the two blocked each other on Twitter. It's far from the first time that rumors of the two splitting up have blown up on social media. When they unfollowed each other on Instagram back in February, similar sentiments began to spread. DDG shot down the rumors down at the time, calling the internet "so gullible.”

Halle Bailey recently spoke about being in love with DDG during an interview for British Vogue. “Experiencing deep love for the first time in my life is something I feel has opened a whole new world for me creatively," she told the outlet. "What it feels like to love someone other than your family, like somebody you may not have known two years ago but now they’re the center of your world. I like all of the scary feelings that come with that. I like the suspense, the not knowing what’s going to happen, and I feel like that’s what I’m supposed to be going through in womanhood." Bailey added to British Vogue: “It’s also deeply sacred…there’s a lot of eyes on me now, especially with what’s to come. And sometimes I wish I didn’t have so many eyes on me, especially experiencing something like this for the first time.”
