She's just two shows into perhaps the biggest tour of her career to date, but that's not stopping Beyoncé from also expanding her business empire. On Tuesday (May 16), the Houston-born multi-talent turned to Instagram to share some photos – not from her recent RENAISSANCE concerts, but rather, from her glam room, as well as her mother's hair salon back in the day. The images came without a caption but were followed by a third slide with a message from Queen B about her latest venture that's already got the BeyHive buzzing.

"How many of y'all know my first job was sweeping hair in my mama's salon?" she began the handwritten note. "Destiny's Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon." During her countless hours spent watching Tina Lawson do hair, Beyoncé says she, "saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate our hair can directly impact our souls."

Beyoncé Gears Up to Expand Her Empire

Further praising her mother, the "Halo" hitmaker went on to say, "I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I've always dreamed of carrying on her legacy." Afterward, Bey made it abundantly clear that she's got a special project of her own on the way. "I can't wait for you to experience what I've been creating," her message concluded.

As Uproxx notes, it remains unclear exactly what the Grammy Award winner will be doing in the realm of hair. Some have suggested a line of wigs or hair for braiding and extensions. Elsewhere, others think she's preparing to dominate the hair care market with dry shampoos, oils, and other products to give us the Beyoncé effect.
