Despite having "No Type," Swae Lee has high aims when it comes to his dating prospects. After the most successful year of his career, the younger Rae Sremmurd brother now has his sights set on the President's daughter. Swae thinks he and Malia Obama would make a great match. "I might unlock a new swag for her," he told a reporter last night in L.A., outside of his brother Slim Jxmmi's birthday party. While Jxmmi was celebrating his 25th last night, Swae Lee is just 21, closer to Malia's age of 18.
A reporter stopped Swae last night and asked him to reflect on his exceptional 2016. "We froze the world," he said, referring to how Rae Sremmurd's No. 1 single, "Black Beatles," inspired the Mannequin Challenge. The reporter noted that the viral video concept even made it to the White House, as it was acted out in the presidential estate on two separate occasions, first by Michelle Obama and the Cavs and then by a massive group of celebrities at an awards banquet. That's when his friend jumped in and let it slip that Swae is interested in another lady who currently occupies the White House -- though not for much longer.
"I think we would get along," said Swae of his potential chemistry with Obama's oldest daughter. "We just young minds, creative minds, just great minds."
"We might bump heads, who knows," said Swae after the reporter remarked that Malia is about to embark on a gap year, "'cause we both be on turnt-up scenes, and just love life equally."
Now Obama is a known hip-hop head, though it's doubtful he'll be inviting the Black Beatles to perform at his send-off party after this report.
