Mark Wahlberg is in the process of creating his very own Air Jordan sneaker, which will reportedly feature the Jordan Formula 23 Trainer.
In a recent episode of "Wahlburgers" the actor/producer/businessman/sneaker collector paid a visit to Nike's Beaverton, Oregon headquarters to work on the upcoming model and hinted at plans of something bigger with Jordan Brand in the future.
Per Sole Collector:
"I wanna tell Phil Knight and Michael that, you know what, I want to do my own line of workout apparel for the everyday guy," he says while heading out to Nike HQ in a private jet.
Over the years, Marky Mark has worked his way into the "friends & family" circle of the Jordan Brand so it's not shocking that he's finally been given the opportunity to create something of his very own.
The special edition sneaker will be a tribute to the Wahlburgers restaurant chain but will likely be an exclusive pair for promotional purposes, therefore it's unlikely they'll be releasing in stores.
Take a look at some still shots from his trip to Nike HQ in the gallery above, which showcases a handful of never before seen Air Jordans.
