Whenever ill-advised jokes on social media involve race or religion, there's a good chance you're going to face a ton of backlash for it. This is a lesson that PARTYNEXTDOOR learned in a big way today.
The Canadian artist tweeted, then promptly deleted a tweet about Jews selling chains. Based on how quickly he retracted the statement, it may have regretted it pretty well instantly. Check out a screencap of it below.
As one might expect, there was some strong, swift reaction from Twitter users against those comments, with some likening it to Jay-Z's reported anti-semitism where his new album 4:44 is concerned. We'll see if PND is able to recover from this error in due time.
