Veeze and Lil Uzi Vert make a great duo.

Within recent years, the Detroit style of rap has made its way to the forefront. This is thanks to its current front runners Babyface Ray, Icewear Vezzo, 42 Dugg, and Rio Da Yung OG. Notably, Veeze has been making waves, no pun intended with his 2019 debut project Wavy Navy. On Wednesday, he officially announced and released the sequel to his viral hit song “GOMD."

The remix to "G.O.M.D" includes a feature from the Philadelphia rapper, Lil Uzi Vert. Earlier this month, Veeze teased the release of the song by posting a Facetime screenshot of him and Uzi. This has led fans to speculate that there will be a collaboration between the two popular rappers. On Wednesday, Veeze took to social media to confirm the collaboration with the cover art of the single. “I’m just grateful fr my life feel faker and faker everyday! @xvirock my brotha put this together got yo back for life kid no cap,” he said showing appreciation to Uzi for the collaboration.

VEEZE Shows His Appreciation to Lil Uzi Vert

In case you have not noticed, Veeze’s popularity has risen following his star-studded collaborations. In 2021, he appeared as a feature on Pooh Shiesty’s “Making A Mess .“ He was also featured on Lil Baby's popular single "U-Digg" last year which also features 42 Dugg. His star power also was taken into notice with his frequent collaborations with Babyface Ray. The remixed version of "G.O.M.D" adds to the list of strong collaborations. Differing from the original version, Lil Uzi Vert starts the song with an almost two-minute verse. Additionally, the song closes with Veeze's strong delivery of the original track. The track's original music video currently sits at just over 3 million views.

Furthermore, Veeze is currently on Tour with Babyface Ray for the Courtesy of the Mob Tour. Fans are also awaiting the release of his highly anticipated project Ganger. The release of this remix serves alongside his other singles during his release spree. Have you heard the remix of "G.O.M.D"? Let us know in the comments below.

Spent four hunnid thousand, never drove the Maybach
I talk shit, I don't ever talk back
