Colin Cowherd is one of those analysts who is right 50 percent of the time, and wrong the other 50 percent. Overall, he achieves this balanced record by flipping his opinion whenever he is proven wrong. If he tells you LeBron James sucks and then James scored 50, well, the next day Cowherd will tell you he always believed in LeBron. Needless to say, he is wrong one day, right the other, thus landing a 50 percent clip. However, fans don't love this approach, as they feel like it is less interesting than what Skip Bayless and Stephen A. do.
That said, Colin Cowherd knows how to be wildly entertaining when he wants to be. On Tuesday morning, we saw just that. The Warriors had just lost to the Lakers, and the L was fresh in people's minds. Steph Curry was amazing throughout the game, however, his teammates played poorly. Consequently, Cowherd decided to unleash a rant upon the Warriors' roster. The only person who was exempt was none other than Stephen Curry.
Colin Cowherd Goes In
“Look at this team, Klay Thompson is sometimes as awful as he is good, [Andrew] Wiggins is meek, Donte DiVincenzo a couple of turnovers last night, Jordan Poole nobody trusts him, Draymond Green doesn’t give you offense, and Kevon Looney can just rebound…Gary Payton II was Steph Curry’s best teammate last night…what are the Warriors without Steph?" Colin Cowherd asked. These are very good questions. Typically, the roster around Steph has performed to the point where it masks his own flaws. However, there is nowhere to hide, and the Warriors look vulnerable. One can imagine what will happen if his teammates lay an egg yet again in Game 5.
The aforementioned Game 5 is set to go down on Wednesday, May 10th. If the Warriors lose, their season is over. However, they can extend the series an extra game by winning. If they come back from down 3-1, well, revenge will officially be exacted and 2016 will be vindicated. Let us know what you think of Colin Cowherd's rant, in the comments section below.
