NBA YoungBoy just lit a fire online (albeit an unsurprising one), and doused some gasoline on it on Instagram Live. Moreover, the rapper took to the social media platform following his bold Twitter disses towards Lil Durk, DJ Akademiks, and India Royale. However, it seems like Ak was the main target of YB's ire this time around, as he previously focused on Durk and their upcoming sales battle this week. Furthermore, the Baton Rouge MC fired off at the media personality for assuming that he's throwing these jabs out to get more numbers behind his upcoming mixtape. All in all, it feels like he'd be happy with ten album sales if it meant speaking his mind.
"This p***y a** n***a Akademiks," YoungBoy began his rant, which he embarked on while playing his music. "Actin' like I give a f**k about numbers. B***h, I just dropped two weeks ago. This p***y n***a finna drop. B***h, I ain't worried about no numbers, n***a. B***h a** n***a, big bank take lil' bank. Your stupid drink face a**. That's all you like to do, b***h, is get drunk and talk s**t. That one gon' get you f***ed up." He seemingly didn't address Durk directly, who already responded to him, it seems.
NBA YoungBoy Fires Off On DJ Akademiks On Instagram Live
Meanwhile, Akademiks had this to say concerning YoungBoy's Twitter tirades. "Lol I never thought I see the day my homie diss me cuz his sales low,” he posted on Twitter. “This rap game is the devil lol. Youngboy I forgive u man. We can get them sales up otherwise… lol. But ok. Capitol Records I blame u for this… y’all pressuring YB to get some sales he doing anything. Get my boy off house arrest tho. YB the last rapper I thought would ever do some s**t for sales. But damn. Go buy his album it drops Friday… He’s tryna outsell Lil Durk. I still love him thc. Buy his project."
Of course, the main event at this showdown is between the Don't Try This At Home MC and Lil Durk, who will drop his album Almost Healed the same day as YB's mixtape Richest Opp. Though fans hoped they had put their differences aside, it seems like it's just business as usual for the two. Hopefully rap fans still get two great projects as a result, and this spat doesn't get any uglier. On that note, if you want the latest updates and news on NBA YoungBoy, stick around on HNHH.
